RANZCR 2010 Reinvigorated With New and Exciting Activities and Products

Perth, WA, 17 October, 2010 – Even the best of industry tradeshows can seem tedious to those whom attend such events year after year. Ensuring this was not the case at this year’s RANZCR Annual Scientific Meeting in Perth, exhibitor Imaging Solutions embraced a theme of ‘new and innovative’ throughout it’s displays and activities.

Having recently unveiled fresh new branding, the medical imaging distributor had a raft of domestic and international supplier partners on their stands, along with fresh product features such as Australia’s first glimpse of the ground-breaking Barco 10 mega-pixel diagnostic display. The company also ran a number of early morning breakfast presentation and discussion sessions and conducted the ‘Case of the Day’ competition; an innovative new initiative ran in conjunction with RANZCR and Barco.

Imaging Solutions’ new branding is evident in everything from its corporate uniforms and business cards to the company’s values and marketing collateral. This was complimented by the introduction of new supplier partners Laurel Bridge, OneMedNet and PacsHealth to Imaging Solutions’ extensive range of world market-leading brands.

The new ‘Case of the Day’ initiative was warmly received at the event and provided delegates with the opportunity to diagnose a number of radiology or radiation oncology problem cases for a chance to win an Apple iPad. The Barco 10MP, along with it’s sister 6MP display, were used to display the cases along with a range of modality’s images and related software such as WorkstationOne, an innovative mammography workstation solution from Three Palms Software.

Next year, the RANZCR tradeshow will move to Melbourne – a new city and hopefully equally as many new activities, display and initiatives as was seen in Perth in 2010.
