Laurel Bridge Software Releases Navigator™, an Enterprise Image Workflow Solution

by Luke Molnar

Newark, DE (October 1, 2013) – Laurel Bridge Software is pleased to introduce Navigator, its newest enterprise medical image workflow solution.

Navigator is a secure, reliable, web-architected solution that can fetch medical images from multiple medical image sources. It is initiated by monitoring unlimited modality worklists (MWLs) or HL7 feeds and is capable of delivering ‘relevant’ images to any number of destinations. Additionally, Navigator can be integrated with Laurel Bridge’s Compass™ image routing solution or other third-party applications via simple web interfaces.

Key features of Navigator include the ability to:

  • Monitor or manage your priors fetching workflow from any web-enabled computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.
  • Define image fetching, delivery, and sharing workflows
  • Configure sources, MWLs, HL7 feeds, and destinations for each workflow
  • Prioritize source preferences in the event the same studies exist on multiple sources
  • Configure study match and select criteria based upon DICOM tags, date ranges, number of studies, and implementation-specific requirements including ‘fuzzy’ matching for each workflow
  • Plugin custom scripts to control source/destination selection or to refine relevancy criteria for priors selection
  • Monitor and display the status of any DICOM devices on your network
