Imaging Solutions Launches Design And Construction Solution Platform In Australia And New Zealand

BRISBANE, QLD, 01 OCTOBER 2013 — Imaging Solutions announced today the launch of a new solution platform and dedicated trading division called Healthcare Design and Construction, or HDC. The creation of the new division is in response to market demand for more competition, reduced capital costs and reduction in build times for medical imaging rooms in Australia and New Zealand.

With over 45 years of experience in supporting the Australian and New Zealand medical imaging industry, Imaging Solutions recently completed its pilot program completing the supply, installation and commissioning of over twenty MRI RF cage rooms across Australia. Imaging Solutions partnered with key world-market-leading suppler partners to enter the market and offer optimum flexibility to its customers with the option of accessing both turnkey and unbundled solutions.

Within the MRI RF cage market in particular, where the company now claims to hold approximately 40% market share, Imaging Solutions has been growing rapidly and has also announced a local manufacturing capability that will deliver unmatched local production efficiencies and reduced lead times for customers. Previously, the company had purchased pre-assembled modular RF cages from its UK partner, Wardray Premise, but will now purchase and maintain component inventories locally further enhancing its capability to meet the customised needs of its customers. Critically, this eliminates delivery time line constraints previously challenging the growth and adoption rate in Australia and New Zealand.
