Imaging Solutions Announces Appointment of MRI Equipment Product Manager

Michael Crosby to take on expanded role as MRI Product Manager to provide much needed focus on important growth sector.

BRISBANE, QLD, 20 FEBRUARY 2014 — Imaging Solutions announced today that Michael Crosby has been named MRI Product Manager, Australia and New Zealand. He will be responsible for driving sales of the company’s MRI equipment and accessories portfolio as well as providing high-level technical and commercial support to customers.

“Michael’s move into this role will ensure we continue to nurture a high-level of expertise and focus on MRI products, a critical area for us that has, and will continue to, demonstrably drive sales growth and aftermarket service revenues for both our customers and supplier partners.” said Glenn Honey, Imaging Solutions’ Managing Director.

Michael brings a wealth of experience gained both working for Imaging Solutions and for other organisations in Australasia, the United Kingdom and Asia. Michael joined Imaging Solutions as Marketing Manager in 2010 and quickly revitalised the company’s brand and re-organised its product portfolio into its current solution platform-based architecture. Since, the marketing department has successfully co-promoted the Imaging Solutions brand alongside the brands and products of over 70 supplier partners. Over the same period, he has been a key player in developing relationships with the suppliers of the company’s broad-based portfolio of MRI equipment.

“Michael is a perfect fit for this role with his background in marketing, product management and sales both at Imaging Solutions and larger corporate multinationals,” said Mr Honey.

Prior to joining Imaging Solutions, Michael was Channel Marketing Manager for General Electric in their Asia-Pacific Headquarters in Shanghai, China. He has also held a number of marketing and product management roles in Australia and the United Kingdom, and was an Officer in the Royal Navy. He possesses a Master of Commerce (Sydney University) and Bachelor of Arts – Communications (University of Western Sydney) degrees and speaks conversational Mandarin Chinese.
