Event: Perioperative Nurses College Annual Conference 2019

The Perioperative Nurses College of NZNO is dedicated to promoting, protecting, and furthering the interests economically, socially, and professionally of all Perioperative Nurses. We promote perioperative nursing through knowledge, understanding and fellowship supporting high standards of nursing practice through education and research. The conference is an ideal chance for perioperative nurses to catch up with the latest innovations in the industry.

The attendees are perioperative nurses who work in pre, intra, and postoperative areas: Preadmission, Day of Surgery, Operating Theatre, Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) and wards, in both public and private hospitals. In recent years the Perioperative Nurses College (PNC) has also included Medical Imaging (Radiology) and Aesthetic (Appearance Medicine) nurses.

Perioperative Nurses College Annual Conference 2019 theme is Lifeblood- the indispensable factor or influence that gives something its strength and vitality. Their goal is to show how nurses, health professionals and the human body can be the indispensable factor of our healthcare system. Research, education, time and passion contributes significantly to the continuing success and existence of New Zealand perioperative care.

Attendee numbers expected is 200 perioperative and medical imaging nurses from New Zealand and Australia.
